The photos above show a block of slate being cut into slabs for counter tops. Dark gray slated called Heathermoore is quarried in Vermont and cut into slabs at Sheldon Slate in Granville, NY. These counter tops are for a soon to be completed renovation project in Middlebury, Vermont.
